Hey Dudes,

The I have put the Firelands Raid in for Wednesday 6th July. This may change in future weeks as we look to condense our schedule and teams.

Now then - Teams. I'll list below exactly what we need to boost us up. I know we have players with the classes in the Guild as alts, or even as mains. We need more variety in our raid teams, and the classes I list below are what we need desperately.

Our raids consist of ideally 1 Melee DPS and 4 Ranged. So bear this in mind if you consider rerolling, or gearing an alt/main accordingly.

What we need badly:
Caster DPS - Warlock (any spec), Shadow Priest
Tank - Feral Druid
Melee - Feral Druid, Enhancement Shaman

I've not listed healers as we have many, but another Resto Shaman or Holy Priest wouldn't be the worst thing to happen.

Hey Dudes!

The time has come now to properly focus on beating the remaining normal bosses in 4.1. We've spent long enough farming with 2 groups, and now it's time to merge them to make a group capable of beating Nefarian, and beating heroics.

"But Ruiner, this means I wont get a raid!!"

Hold your horses there you Jonny, there will still be other raids going on. The plan is to have a raid that farms Cho'gall and the other bosses in BWD, so that we can get everyone a lovely 4-set bonus and fill the gaps in your gearsets.

"I don't like this because I wont get picked!!"

I'm not gonna stand (or indeed sit... who stands up to type??) here and lie to you and say it'll all bea rosy and everyone will come. You wont. The Nefarian raids are going to be the best of the best. No compromise in the groups. Now, we know there are more than 10 players capable of performing how we need, and we are acutely aware of this. If your DPS is high enough, your heals good enough, your tanking pro enough, you WILL get a chance. The way to get into these Nefarian raids is to spend the time improving yourself. If there's a way to squeeze that extra 500 DPS out, then you're gonna have to do it.

If you think your good enough, then by all means sign up for the raid. It will be clearly labelled which raid is the Nefarian progression team raid.

"Are all raids going to be like this now? I don't like change!!"

Short answer? No.

Ruiner's rambling answer? This is going to be just one of the raids each week. The others will still be going. We'll announce the schedules soon, once we have everything in place. We'll still be doing the earlier bosses, and farming Cho'gall. There'll still be the non-progression raids. There'll still be the raids where we wipe because Baz was yelling at Misty to put the kettle on. That part of us will never change!

We just really, really, really need to beat Nefarian.
